Deacon---LOL--we all want to buy this stuff as cheap as possible and I am no different. There are a lot of conditions that come into play when determining the fair value and they can differ greatly from collector to collector. Only you can know your original cost and emotional connection to the plate, so only you can put a price on it. Price it as high as you want and I will either accept your price or politely decline if its beyond my concept of fair value.
Condition is always a major concern and 2 different collectors will often classify an item with 2 entirely different grades. I would never buy a collectible item without at least seeing a picture of it.
