Looking for the sign in the picture below. Supposedly was seen in an auction in Florida in the late 80s early 90s, so I think it may still be out there.

S Del Signore was my great grandfather, still own the building in the picture and would love to get this one back!

will pay a fair price and a finder's fee.

thanks!

Cool sign, I don't know anything about it but I also have a grandfather named S. Del Signore but from Norwood, MA. Not a name you hear too often!

Italians. laugh

My great grandfather was actually in Niagra falls until 1914 or so, then moved the family to WV. Had a general store/filling station there until about 1950.

shot of the building a little further back. lots of cool stuff there. this is in 1943 according to the photo date.

Found another picture of the building this weekend. I dug the firestone sign out if the backyard about 15 years ago! Any contacts for coke collectors in Florida?

Have you tried contacting anyone in the Coca-Cola Collector's Club. They have various state and regional chapters, including a West Coast Florida chapter. You can get contact (email) info at:

http://www.cocacolacollectors.club/wp/index.php/chapters/

Might be worth sending an email to them as well as any other surrounding area chapters. Maybe they would be willing to circulate your request to their members.
