All this talk about Iowa gas has me all excited about our Front Range Gas Bash. We now have well over 50 vendors for the show. I was planning on 30 so I am really thankful for all the support. If you are even thinking about coming to the show I highly recomend you do. This is going to be a great show. Food, shirts, rocky mountain hospitality, Pumps, cans, globes, what more could you want? Scott, Thanks for sending me the flyers for the BASH. Sounds like this will be a GR8 show and a chance to meet fellow collectors.
Sure wish my niece would have picked some other weekend to get married...Maybe next year.
I have handed them to several collectors in my area and have posted them here in Scotsbluff, Pine Bluffs, and Laramie. I encourage everyone to attend to make it a success.

Sitting in the Denver airport yesterday waiting for my flight back to Los Angeles. I picked up a copy of the Rocky Mtn. news to of course check the classifieds. Big Ad, a real eye catcher for the Gas Bash! Good job Scott, I'm sure you'll get lots of attendance from that! Thanks for the kind words of support Don. I am doing a lot of advertising to get the buyers to the show. A show if fun to hang out with the gas guys but the vendors need buyers too. We are cruisin along now, I have had 60+ vendors register for the event. HOLY COW! At this rate we will have 70 before the show. There is going to be ton's of bargains and lots of fun for everyone. Funny thing happened the other day, this guy called me up and said an old timer he did some work for gave him a shoebox full of maps from the 20's through the 40's. He stated that none of the stations existed anymore like Powerine and Speedway... He is bringing them to me at the meet to sell for him. I will let you know what he brings! Scott, nice haul! I'm likin' that Tokheim 34!! You should sell it to me & you won't have to haul it to the bash!!!  Maybe Dwaine could haul it to Freds??? Wish I could make it, sounds like a great time will be had by all!!!

So I get this call today from a guy who wants to bring some Skelly stuff to the show. I ask him if he wants to get a space and he replies that he just wants to sell a box of Skelly stuff he found in a old station. He goes on to say he has 11 NOS globe lenses and 50 NOS ad glass that he would like to sell to a collector.. needless to say I am sure he will find a happy buyer and I will make sure to post photos!!! ------------------ Scott www.frontrangegas.com
