Thanks for the help that explains why the other side of the sign only has 100 so they must flip the sign when it is only 100 avgas. He did say he got the pump from a airport.

Well I am thinking about it would you restore it or leave as is? I know it is my pump but if you had it what would you do the only reason I ask is it was green originally.

...um, have you looked to see if it's green porcelain underneath the red paint?...even if it isn't, I'd remove the pump signs...they're not particularly interesting, and not original to the pump...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

If it doesn’t already have a globe holder then it’s not a globe top. Chris

Thanks for the help. The top has a square about 4inch long that comes off thought that might be where the globe hold went? It is not porcelain for sure I can scratch it off. Thanks again

Never seen one with a hole & not have a globe ring on it... maybe someone removed the ring & covered the hole, then u would just need a ring? Chris

The piece on top is where a pricer is clamped on. You can cut a hole in your top for a globe holder. Buy your holder first then set it on top and mark where it needs to be cut. You can also offer to trade your uncut top for a cut top. I did that because I hated to cut a good uncut top.
