I was at the Portland swap meet this past week and came across something I have never seen.

in the photo I circled it- what is this for?- it appears it goes thru the pump and once held a sign or somethin

A while back I posted a picture of a tanker dropping gas at a CONOCO station. The station had these pumps with something in the holders. I never could navigate the search program, possibly someone can and post the pictures.

Don't think it was for pricer sign and Jack is spot on, mostly had little advertising signs in it. Station owners had to put promo items in them and most just got tossed.
