http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-ECO-AIR-METER-...=p2052191.m2338So, these are for ECOs according the the seller, people stated bidding, seller contact me, possibly wanting the sell me the entire "mess." I tell him the gas pump parts he has purchased are worth money if he wants to spend many hours identifying every part (reset handles, etc.) I tell him I am not interesting in buying anything and suggest he sell the entire at a profit, but sell it as a lot. Go on with the thing that you already good at.
I also told him the wheels he posted on ebay were for a very late V/R computer and were not for a ECO air meter. He does not change his Ebay posting to tell his potential customers that these are just three V/R wheels that will only fit some computers from the very late 60s or even sooner.
Since I am getting old, it is time I let some of you know some of the things I have learned that it seems no one else has.
When ECO started making the Model 90 Series meters, they purchased the wheels from V/R, but they did not purchase the exact wheels that are used on the V/R computers. The wheels appeared identical, same size and of course 0-9. But inside the center of the wheel is a hole that the shaft passes through.
If the V/R wheel is clear through it is ECO wheel, but if it has a little piece stopping the shaft to going through the wheel, it is a computer wheel.
Knowing, being the brightest light on the Christmas tree (just kidding) I figured out how to use the computer wheels on the ECO, but the expiation is is too long to be posted here.
But to sell them as ECo wheels, guys, stay away from them.
