Exceedingly rare Palmetto Peanut Butter & Molasses Crate. I've never seen another example of this crate. If you do a internet search for it, your unlikely to find another one either.
In decent shape, I believe a slat from the bottom of the crate might have been replaced at some time before it found its way to me. Although I believe it was decades before, as the nails holding it in place, were the same as the rest of the crate. I did have to replace a few nails that had rusted into oblivion, but other then that, its held up well. The fact that it survived at all is a bit of a miracle, considering the rarity of the crate. It's a interesting piece & one your probably not going to find again.
