HI GUYS (CALIFORNIA'S), NEED YOUR ADVISE. I WILL BE IN THE SAN FRANCISCO AREA ON JUNE 11 THRU JUNE 18, 2005. I DIDN'T SEE ANY DATES IN "DWAINES" LIST (posted-petro news 1/12) OR IN "OLD GAS" LIST OF EVENTS THAT COINCIDE WITH MINE...DARN!!
ARE THERE ANY SWAP MEETS/PETRO SHOWS ETC. NEAR THE SAN FRANCISCO AREA GOING ON IN A REASONABLE DRIVING DISTANCE THAT YOU KNOW OF?
(TED, DWAINE, CURT, ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED)
THANKS IN ADVANCE ..................CJ

CJ,
I was recently in that area. Unfortunately Ted was on a cruise and Jason was moving into his new home so I didn't get to visit either one of them.
You might want to check out the Blackhawk Auto Museum while you're out there.

CJ,

How mobile will you be (rental car?) and how much free time?

Probably be worth trying to hook up with some of the Sacramento guys since thats only a couple hours away. Also should go see Arlen Ness' place in Dublin if you're into motorcycles.

You could also try and get up to Stokes place in Santa Rosa to the north.

If you have lots of time drive down the 101 to Solvang and I'll give you the Central Coast petro tour (about 4 hours drive south).

As far as places to add Petro stuff to your collection there are a couple of big Flea Markets in San Jose that could be worth checking out.
