Here's a shout out to all our Texas members and the indeed all the people affected by the torrential downpours. The scenes from Houston in particular are horrific. However CNN is showing many instances of neighbors helping each other to get out of trouble. Stay safe and hopefully help will come soon and the rains stop.

houston is once again destroyed, but Harvey has been downgraded twice since it hit land overnight friday. those of us in austin and surrounding areas have received a foot of rain already but not a lot of "flooding" so far, we got really lucky on this one.

We got about 9in. in 24 hr. period as it rolled through TN.
3 tornadios but all in all have faired pretty well.
Can't complain after watching what TX. is dealing with.

Anyone talked with Paddy he is right on the river and I'm pretty sure it passed right through near him.
