Maybe you guys can teach me a thing or two. I'm watching this motorcycle all week. Just what I have been looking for. It got a opening bid this morning of 9,500.00 which I felt was all the money due to year,had a buy it now price plus reserve that wasn't met. I came back home tonight and it received 3 bids of what looks to be 9,500.00. I thought the next bid had to be higher than the last. By the time I looked tonight the auction had ended, would it not post highest bid it received because it didn't meet reserve?. Help ----I'm confused!

Sounds like it was the same bidder trying to see what the reserve was set at. You can up your own bid and it will not raise the amount till someone else bids.

What poleman said Loyd....you can bid all you want if you are the only bidder and the reserve isn't met, and obviously since you are bidding against yourself the actual bid won't raise (unless you hit the reserve) but the number of "bid ups" you placed will be counted and shown as bid activity.
