I have been working on a Gas Pump Image Album as I have had time. I'm going to have to work on some client pay work for a while, so I'm going to let you guys have a peek at it before it is really ready. It will never be "done." If you have any suggestions or ID corrections, please let me know. I have lots more images to ID and post. But if you have good pump images, especially rare pumps and pumps restored in brands and paint schemes not yet shown, send them to me. There is even a Public Upload Album where you can upload your images directly from your computer to that album. If you can ID those pumps, that would be very helpful. http://gaspumps.info/gallery/albums.php ------------------ Jim "Oldgas" PottsYour host and moderator

Yes, we still are on strike here. I'm the elected shop steward, so I make the schedules, fill in where needed and make sure everything is running smooth. Takes more time than you may think. The employer group is dead set on getting rid of half of the mechanics and replacing them with half-wage, low or no experience "helpers." Looks like a long term deadlock since the employers will not negotiate on that issue. The older guys could see this coming and were prepared. The younger guys, with higher financial loads, feel that their entire career is on the line, so they are ready to stay out as long as it takes. We are in the tenth week. The real employer group agenda may be to keep it going long enough to bust up the union so the dealers can do whatever they want with their employees. They don't grasp that employee attitude is key in satisfying customers in the service business.
I'm also doing work for Web site clients, working around the house and wondering how I ever had time to go to work 8 hours a day?
