Hi,

I picked up this ink stamp today. The stamp itself is metal, and is attached to a block of plywood as you will see in the pics. Can anyone tell me what its use might have been? Also, it would be nice to have an idea of when it dates to, but I guess that's a tall order considering how long Esso used the same style of logo...

Thanks, Randy. Yes, I suppose it could be for use with a printing press. Odd that it doesn't have the oval around "Esso", though. Maybe the blue was printed separately?
