Even after I resized them to 50% the file was too large. What am I doing wrong? Thank you Randy, I will keep working on my resizing skills:)

I will try to get the 1930's Sunoco oil bottles loaded on another post

Is the red/black flange original? Can you show picture of the flange...I had one and was told it was a reproduction if the flange is black as the originals were painted white.

I can guarantee it iis real and the opposite it true. I have had 4 of these all original and the flange is black on all of these except of course the white sign. I will take pictures of the flange and upload it as well as the other one hanging on my wall. Morphy, Mecum and Barrett Jackson all want to consign them and they don't do that with fakes

I've had a few as well, all with black flanges, and I never doubted their authenticity. I'm not an expert at all, but I'd say you were given false information. Hopefully you didn't sell it as a reproduction?

I got $800 for a roached out one and $2300 for one in great condition - I know they are original - The white one I sold one in worse shape for $2000 last year. I cant explain it but Texaco stuff always goes for higher prices at auctions. Good place to sell back place to buy unless you are willing to pay up

Good info! And glad to know.
Maybe mine was legit but mine almost looked too good to be real.
I'll have to dig up a pic of it and post it so you can see
