So here is a Rare Vintage Original Chevy OK Used Cars Dealership Sign 36 in McAx makers mark. Porcelain sign is in aged used chipped as is condition with decent color and shine for age. Dia is 36 inches . Yes I will ship or local pickup is avail 716 208 7375 . Compare to same signs double in price without the makers mark.

According to the For Sale Guidelines, announcements of eBay auctions are acceptable for petroliana items in either the For Sale Petroliana With Prices section or the Online Auctions, eBay section.
Since the bid price is subject to change, there isn't a set price. Sellers should put the current bid value in their post at the time it is posted.
This has not been enforced for eBay auction announcements in the past because the final selling price is seldom the price at the time the announcement of posted.

I don't think it's the sellers fault as he is doing what others do on here and put their ebay auctions on this forum.
Not sure why the ebay auctions are allowed in the For Sale Petroliana with prices in the first place.
The following is at the top of the page for the Online Auctions, eBay Craigslist Petroliana: it is not on the For Sale Petroliana with prices

The reason that eBay auction announcements are allowed in the For Sale Petroliana section is that the Online Auctions, eBay section is often about third party sellers, repro warnings and complaints. Members requested it and I changed the rules several years ago to allow eBay announcements in For Sale.
At the top of the For Sale Petroliana section is says,
"Important Update!
Each item offered here must be priced. Announcement of your eBay petroliana auctions are allowed. Other updated rules including 72 hour bumping limits also apply.
------- Please read and follow the For Sale forum Guidelines -------"
The opening price, current bid and buy-it-now price (or not) are subject to change at any moment on eBay. An opening price is required there, so the items announced always does have a price shown on eBay.
The referral ad fees from eBay for winning bids from buyers who are referred from our site are what keeps Oldgas.com in operation.

If it forsale I'd like to see a price without having to go to a different page, or 2 or 3. Put your eBay auctions in the online forsale.... is it really that hard? If it's on ebay it not really forsale, it's an auction that may not meet reserve. Chris

Dom, thanks for posting your sign here on oldgas in this forum. I don't mind jumping over to ebay, get to see the large photos there. I understand that it increases your items visibility being for sale in multiple venues.
I also like that he can be contacted outside of ebay, saving all of us (buyer&seller) the ebay fees.

I can't for the life of me understand the reluctance to put the price on the listing.. I don't know if the item is $500.00 or $1499.00 or what it is.. and this isn't the first one..
