Ive never been to a show yet, but the Mass one is the closest to me, so I am thinking of going. Has anyone been there that can tell me how many vendors will be there?
Im trying to decide if I should plan a full day and get a motel, or if its a small show that will only take a few hours to look at stuff.
John

Hi John, I've set up at every MassGas show. I always sell good and come home with something for my collection. Ditto for my Dad, who has been to most of the shows. For vendor turn out call Ron 413-436-7097 or Rick 978-939-8100. I recommend the show if you're into this stuff. These small regional shows need our support to continue. Getting a room might be tough Sat. nite because it is the end of Brimfield antique week (which is right down the street). The facility where Mass Gas is is cool, you can pitch a tent or sleep in your truck. They have eats and a tavern too. Last few years a live band.

The show starts at dawn with guys walking around with flashlights. By 11, most vendors are packing up and its over by noon. It is small, but great people. Come on down and say hello. Ed

Ed,
Thanks for the reply. It sounds much better than I thought. Bands? Tavern??!! I would be traveling quite a way though and really cant sleep in my truck anymore! Any suggestions on where I could get a motel maybe a little bit out of town towards VT?

John, try the promoters for room info. The closer to Brimfield the higher the price. There is a little motor court down the road on 20. Lots of chains near Springfield, other exits on Mass Pike. Ed

John, the trip should take you less than 3 hrs. Vendors set up at dawn , start packing up around 11. If it rains, some guys have tents;I will set up under the pavilion.

Who else is going? 5qt, Chandlers, John M. are usually there.
