Got home about two hours ago after an 8 hour 560 mile trip. Got several things I was after in the auction and a few I didn't plan on bidding on. Show sales were good and I picked up a few more things during the show. Nice to see old friends and fellow oldgasers again. Bill Fortune. Waiting for the next one!

Echoing the thanks for the pictures. I wasn't able to make it this year, either. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what percentage attendance was down? Given the recent drop in gas prices, I'm rather surprised.

Your welcome guys. Jim, Lynda's cookies were definately the highlight of the show!!! She baked enough for everyone and then went person to person making sure everyone got one! She's a true sweetheart! She has done so for a couple years now! Thanks soo much Linda!!! KFH, I will email owner and ask a price for pump for you... Maps for memories, The traffic was ONLY half what it usually is. Vendor turnout was down about 25%... Definately a direct result of the wonderful economy...

Hey there everyone. Got back last night from Peotone & was zapped from fighting the darn wind the whole way. Anyway it was a good time & met some people that I have not met before & ones I already have. We went out for pizza on Saturday night & man that pizza was good. Got me a few globes & some lenses from T-way will post pic's later. Hey Kurt I have a Bowser just like that one for sale in the for sale section. Let me know if you are interested. Well like Bill said waiting for the next one

It seemed like a low turnout Sunday, but I found most everything I was looking for, while still having the time to meet with new people,so that was a nice bonus that you usually don't have time for. I do wish I brought more money with me though.. Cookies were very good and the weather was much better then was earlier predicted for here I thought. It was nice to talk to our host Jim P. again, and I'd like to thank Tom Buckles for his assistanace and knowledge base too. He always comes through,or tells you who can. Thanks Tom. This is always a great personal show that never disappoints in my book.

The Gulf thermometer was mine, brought it with me to the show. It sold just as I was packing to leave. Was really nice, one of the best I have seen. Was a great show even though there were low numbers of vendors and buyers. Jim, the cookies were great as always. It was good to see alot friends. Thanks all who participated.
