BTW there's a Fry on EBay right now, silver unrestored, looks to have same modification, gallon markers, proportions, etc.

David,
From your pics, your property looks pretty secluded, but whether you live near a city or out in the country, if you can see it from the road, I would bolt it to the ground to deter thieves somewhat.
I don't mean to be a downer in this thread.... I'm only telling you because you are new, that was a special gift, and it happens.
Plus it stabilizes it.

My driveway is 200' long and up a hill, the pump will display at the turnaround area, once occupied by a maple tree. And yes it will be bolted down. I have grandkids. Have elected to preserve, not fully restore. Will post a pic in few months when all is completed.

I have seen a Fry 117 lifted over a 6 foot fence.You will be surprised how determined thieves can be. Don't take any chances and good luck. Dave
