I STILL NEED A BASE FOR AN ERIE 753, IF ANYONE HAS ONE.

THE BASE I NEED MEASURES APPROXIAMTELY 15" x 15" from skin mounting lip to lip.

Sean (Skomatinsky) tried his best to help me out. And I really appreciate all of his help. We talked several times and we figured out the base I need might be 753 specific.

[Just an FYI, the Erie 603 base will not work. It is approx. 13" deep x 15" wide. On the 753 the casting 1/2 way down the pump, 'bumps' the bottom skins out 1" on both the front and the back making the base 15" x 15" (if that makes sense).]

Sooooo, if anyone has this base and can help me out please give me a call, or send me a text or PM.

Thanks,
Steve

I know where a cut down 753 pump is on a farm. It has a perfect top and base. It's no longer being used but they still won't sell it. I'll try again, been a long time since I asked but I know it's still there.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Michael,
That would be great if you could ask again. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for the help. I hope they say yes this time.
Thanks again,
Steve

BTT. Still looking for this base. Does anyone have a crusty one I could borrow to make a casting?

Thanks,
Steve

BTT. Still looking for this hard-to-find piece.

Or.... Does anyone have one thats in rough shape near Michigan, Columbus or Gatlinburg that I could borrow to recast?

Does anyone know what recasting a base (or a couple of them) costs? I seem to remember in another thread that it’s not horribly expensive.

Thanks,
Steve

BTT. I may have a generous line on borrowing one of these bases that GJones and I need.

Does anyone know of a reputable company that does it for a fair price??

Thanks,
Steve
