Hi, Mike. This looks like an improvement for vendors, with the main auction moving to Friday, rather than being in the middle of a vending day, as before. Thanks for posting this info. John

BrianH MY GOD THEN DON'T GO! Are you guys trying to win the Dick Bennett award! I considered Dick my friend and he once told me "that he sometimes finds himself more happy when he's unhappy"... LOL So because you can't take the time off for this show, it's important to complain about the show.......LMAO I posted this thread to show the new schedule and to let vendors like myself know what the times are this year. Iowa Gas has a location where the sellers cannot be blocked out and so that being it allows vendors to get set up early. If there is no one buying when they set up, then they are not vending! Everyone gets there and want's to find a score so they start looking thru the vendors stuff. I have had people climb right in my trailer and start looking before I'm even fully parked! The problem isn't just with the guys running the show, it's also with us as vendors and collectors who want to find that one score or sell a item to give us some more cash! I like Iowa because of it's size and location to where it brings in friends from all around the country that I sometimes only get to see once a year. I have been going for 17 years and I pre-sell some stuff, sell a few things in the swap but most of all I have found a whole lot of nice stuff and made some great friendships along the way. Geez, I love you guys but why do we keep beating this dead horse. Don't go if you don't like the way it's run. Myself, I'm going to go and complain about the heat, enjoy a few cold ones and look forward to a schedule that allows me a few days of room to room and outdoor swaps and a couple of auctions and still be home for the Weekend! Just my opinion guys!
Thanks Mike

Well said Mike M., I couldn't agree more. It will be my 21st year and I've never complained about the show. I'm just happy they still have the show and adjust my own schedule accordingly.

Yeah, It’s still a great show with tons of great buys. ANY day at a gas and oil show is way better than a day at work or sitting at home. You just have to get to this one early.
I do wish it included some of the weekend though.
