Well, Guys, I've been know to advertise some weird Buick goodies here on the board, and this item sure fits into that category.
I purchased this model of a transmission from a local, retired Buick engineer. He had two of these, and said a number of these had been produced for use on special employee awards for the people in his engineering department.
This perhaps is a replica of a BUICK DYNAFLOW transmission...but I'd welcome any input from people on the board on that. The transmission model is solid aluminum from what I can tell. It is very well finished. It measures 3-1/2" long by 2" high.
I'm sure someone will have some fun with this unique item. Let's just say your buddy isn't likely to have one of these on his old car trinkets display shelf.
