Yesterday was crazy, with temps up in the 90's and humid (summer weather in MD) and me running around to this and that Friday night art events, receptions and dinners. Lovely places with people I know and admire, but as an artist, you are 'on' the whole time, as a salesman of yourself and your work.

You ever get so over tired you can't sleep? That's me right now...

Today (it's Saturday already) the temps will be in the upper 60's (more spring-like) with rain in the evening. Hopefully if I do finally get some sleep, I can get a day's work done in the studio.

Hope you all have a nice Saturday!

Morning All, Nicole I hope your asleep. I've had so much on my mind I couldn't sleep ,but never to tired to sleep.
Rainy day here with lower temps. Looks like a good day to purge paper work at the parents house, mom never discarded any,its like a paper trail which at some point I hope leads to two deeds I'm looking for. Wish me luck!

Have A Great Weekend All!!

Good morning everyone. It's going to be a real nice day here today, 70° and sunny all day. That's what I'm talking about.

Nicole I hope you get some ZZZZ's, without it, it's like trying to go up hill with roller skates on. Loyd good luck on your hunt, sounds like an important one.

We were suppose to have family in for the weekend but something came up, work related, so it's me and flight control. Yesterday I wanted to move two pumps and a couple of signs. What was I thinking, Part of it is done but the rest of the place is a train wreck. I should know better by now I'll be in there all day Sunday trying to make sense of it all.

Have a great day everyone, stay warm and safe.

Have gas all the time

Morning gassers. Beautiful day in the Ozarks today. If I hadn't already been fishing the first half of the week I would be out there today although I usually let the weekenders have it when it's this nice. Every spot will have a boat on it today. I'm surprised there are any fish left every year after the spring run. Those little cappies must be prolific little buggers. Nicole, you sound like my wife and your sleep patterns. She is always up in the middle of the night banging around doing something but she blames it on somebody named Minnie Paws....? Loyd, good luck going through your mom's papers. I still have three boxes of stuff of my dad's that i hope there is nothing important in and he's been gone seven years. I guess I might as well pitch them now but I know there are a few things I want to keep in them. I spent about an hour this morning being "the guy" on the roof fixing my own internet antenna. We had not had wireless service since Thursday when the storms rolled through and the tech line was still giving a recording saying they were working on outages. I tried to be nice and wait but finally got hold of a person today only to find out their towers were fine, it was a problem with my end. Of course they couldn't have anyone out to look at it until Monday at the earliest so I got the ladder out and went up to take a look myself. I found the antenna loose and pointing in the wrong direction. I am not sure how it could have gotten that loose from the mast as it is attached with two u bolts but they were both loose. I think the culprit may be an owl that likes to set on the antenna at night and survey the smorgasbord of mice and field rats in my mowed yard under the yard light. I see and hear him screeching all the time so maybe he finally worked the mast loose and the winds we had thursday did the rest. Anyway, after tightening the bolts and doing a few adjustments I have it all back up and running again, actually with a stronger signal than before. I guess I need to get a job with the wifi company or at the very least send them a bill for my work and Saturday overtime. smile Have a great weekend everybody.....GB

Good morning everyone,

I now know who to call when my roof antenna needs a tweak.

Very nice day here. Too soggy in the garden to work. Cleaning up the '67 Mustang to take out later. Great day for that.

Here's a shot of the corner of my garage with the old Bowser and a blooming lilac bush.

Have a great weekend out there in Oldgasland

Les, Loyd, Gary,

Yes I did get some ZZZ's and thought I would lounge around when I got up late the second time, to recover from the night before (I miss those days when I could bounce back after stuff--sigh!) until I noticed the calendar. AAAAAAAHHHH the grand nephews birthday I thought was Sunday was Saturday! So a busy kid playing, dog wrestling, cupcake eating, long driving day ensued.

Surprisingly I feel pretty good this A.M. Probably because I was home by 5, and I got my lounging time in Sat. evening. (Yeah Sat evenings are exciting times here at my house grin)

And Minnie Paws, I like that! Trouble is when you wonder out loud if that is the cause of sleeping problems, your guy friends (your age and older) say 'I ain't had that and I have trouble sleeping!' Why can't the folks who wrote the book, 'What To Expect When You Are Expecting', put out a book, 'What To Expect When You Get Older?'

It would save a lot of frustration and time wondering what the H is going on!
