This is my latest rustoration. This pump is made up of parts from many pumps. Some of the parts were pretty rough. It started as a parts pump that was missing parts. I bought it because I needed parts from it. Later I hunted down some parts to patch it together then robbed parts from it again. After time passed I collected enough parts to put it together again, then I got a 373 (clock face) that needed parts so it got robbed again. I collected more parts to make it whole one more time and did a rustoration so I would not rob it again. There is only two parts on this pump from the original pump. I do need a " Hi-Octane " pricer in rough or ok condition for the back door if someone has one they want to part with.

Another nice addition to your collection. How did you age the decals on the doors?

Nice. You've got those "rustoration" techniques honed to a fine art. Great job ! Dave

Great job Matt, looks sweet. I had a Wayne 515 that went through that life experience. Glad to see the pump will no longer be a donor.

Thanks for the comments. I tried a couple of things different on this one. Instead of covering the whole thing with wood stain and wiping it off like past projects I only used a little here and there but mostly on the bottom. I mixed black white and brown paint to make it a grayish color then thinned it and dabbed and wiped similar to using the wood stain. Another thing I did was to put the original ad glass and new door glass in before painting it so I could get paint on the rubber and a little on the glass like what happened when they were painted back in the day. I was going to paint over the emblem too but could not get myself to because they look better unpainted.

I dabbed some of the watered down gray paint I made on them.

Ruben, I was told the station lighter is a Revere. It has a spot were there was an ID tag but the tag is missing. If it is a revere then it would have been available to put on any pump.

They couldn't be in a nicer collection. If I ever get to the west coast I know where I'm headed!

Looks good Matt. If something sets around the shop long enough it's bound to get some attention sooner or later, right? Maybe I should try a rustoration on those lubesters I got from you a couple years ago, I never seem to get around to doing anything with them.....GB
