Hey all,

I'm a graphic designer, and have made waterslide decals for fan collectors. With a nice photo and measurements I can near recreate anything. Accessory decals, tube decals, shop stickers, headbadges, you name it. They would be laser printed to prevent ink spill. I'm interested in becoming a good source(shop) of readily available custom decals, if there is interest...

So that being said, is there enough interest to generate some decals for sale???

Here is an example of some stuff I have done. Thanks.

Cool decal, making mental note you can make these. They look good. Typically the people in this hobby need vinyl decals but water slide decals come up occasionally.

I prefer water transfer decals. How do your printed water slide hold up in comparison to original style water slide? Could they be used outside? How do they hold up to having sunlight on them?

Matt, I think those water release decals are inheritantly fragile. I’ve clearcoated them before and that really helps protect them (from uv too). Microsol makes some solutions to make the water release decals more conformable to non-flat surfaces. I think they make a clear too. Anyway be interesting to see what Alec says about it.

Matt, Waterslide decals that are Silk screened hold up loads better than decals printed by a printer outside . As for "Microsol, ", I'll swear by the stuff. Any time you hasve an Irregular surface , that product insures a better adhesion , and they lay down a LOT quicker too ....

see ya on the road folks !

I believe there would be a lot of interest as the major person doing it before has passed and there has been no one step up to provide this service.

I prefer a water transfer any day over vinyl. I’d like to get a pair of Sinclair Power-X for starters.

Hello everyone. You can contact me at my company email: graphicrevivals@gmail.com with any projects you have in mind. If you can attach a straightforward photo of what you need with accurate color representation and exact measurements, that is all I need to get started and give you a quote.

As for the durability, the decals I make are made with a laser printer. They are way more durable compared to inkjet printed decals, but still are not bullet proof. I always recommend using some sort of clear coat to keep it from the elements. If you bake it on, that also allows for more durability.

I can recreate the decals to near precision. Details are the biggest importance in this practice. Most other decal makers make them "good enough", when that simply doesn't cut it for me. Thank you...

Here is an Indian Decal design I just made to reflect the original, compared to that of another reproduction...
