Love how this gas pump is turning out. Looks like a survivor found on a backwoods road.

The A38 guy is back together finally. There was a lot left to do and it was more then I thought, really? I had to rewire the tower which seemed to me to be a simple task but it was not. I found some stainless in my parts box that has the look I was going for and found in my glass pile some old window glass which I used and did not clean, maybe later. I did use the NOS white hose just dirtied it up a bit and as time goes on my add more color to it. Putting on the tower over the lens was a butt clinching experience to say the least. Getting it to fit back together was very time consuming just one step at a time and two weeks later it's as good as it will allow me to go.
Who ever designed/engineered this pump should of had been made to work on it. Bet there would be a lot of changes. The one and only thing that makes any sense is the access door on the tower to plug the tower electrical inside.
There are some things that I still may do but I decided that I will take some time away from it to save our relationship. So now it's on to the next one.

It looks REALLY good. It came out great. The colors, aging and the use of old original trim make it have the "look".

Thank you Matt, you’re my mentor. I rather be doing this then restorations. More work more fun and challenges.
