BIG news. I was told that the Steve Casteli collection will be sold at auction this next October in Santa Rosa, California. This is one not to miss. Some of the finest pumps and signs of all time. A big collection of ad glass to fit ALL pumps. So much to make your mouths water. I can't wait

Any rare Pumps Ray, maybe an ADC, Duplex or BD 1950. Who is handling the sale?

It's going to be done by Aumann Auctions and yes there are some rare pumps. Lot's of time to prepare and you midwest and east coast guys need to make the trip..it will be worth it

I think so.. also had a gasser..
Must have sold the bikes already as I am seeing some for resale..
His bikes in Evolution of Bicycle were awesome.. if his petro is 1/2 as good it will be a great sale..

Ray is right, it's about a 90% chance that the auction will be in October in Santa Rosa, Ca. Fred & I will probably also do a one day bash right after the auction. If you've seen Steve's collection you know that there's TONS of killer stuff; not just gas & oil but great auto dealership signage as well. Steve has had & still has some outstanding bicyles as well as campaigning the "Hot Rod Willys" at alot of the Good Guys events around the country. Start saving time (& $$$$$$$$$$$$) for this event. I think Ray will take us all out to dinner, right Ray??

Found out a little more info on Steve's auction. Oct. 11th & 12th (Weds. & Thurs.) 2006 in Santa Rosa, CA. Then Fred's fall bash will be Fri & Sat. the 13th & 14th. Make a killer petro week & vacation out of this. (I received this info from Fred Fri. evening)
