I was going off the assumption I had a G&B T-177 but now I'm not sure. I'm obviously missing the gallon selectors but the top and bottom gears have me baffled because it appears I'm missing something else or not?
Another reason I'm asking is that those gear looking pieces are unlike any other T-177 I've seen pictured so far.
Thoughts?

I'm interested in Deep Rock and Kerr McGee items especially if they are marked B.A. Tramp Oil

More pics of the inside. First pic is looking down at the lower pump area and second pic is looking up at the upper pump area.

Here are some pictures of the inside of my G&B 178 for reference on the pipe and selector handle you are missing, the selector handle in the picture is broken and I will attach a picture of it also

Thank you Jerry! That's a huge relief that I don't have some farmer's hodgepodge model as it appears. Now we are getting somewhere. Mine is still different from yours in that there is no slot for the selector handle at the top right of access door. What is this in the below pic of my upper part? Any idea? Do I have a type T-178 model #? or am I looking at a type T-179 model # now that it appears I do not have a type T-177?
Thoughts?

Terry, I would say that is a positive stop for the maximum 10 gallon fill for your pump. With the seal on it, it makes me think that it was calibrated and bought off by weights and measures for whatever state it's from. This is the drain back tube so when it is in the lowest position it keeps the cylinder from filling
You may be missing the other 9 fingers for setting the gallon level.
One other thing - 178's have a top with 4 attachment holes - some others have just 3

Hi Jerry, you have been great help! Yes, missing the pipe, handle and the other 9 fingers. It is now all coming together. Yes, my top has 4 holes for attaching it as you've pictured.
The only thing I do not understand is the pipe and the handle in how they moved up and down. The lower "gear" appears to have threads in the center where the pipe would go but the upper "gear" doesn't. How did this all work in sync with each other? I realize fuel ran through the pipe that I'm missing but curious how each end was sealed and moved up and down?

The only other distinguishable marking e.g. number I can find at the moment is on the very top of the skirt, right above the rear hinged access door. Don't know if this means anything or helps anyone else but I thought I would throw it out there.

Sent you a Pm I also don’t think you are seeing threads, I think that what you are seeing is the rope packing that seals against the tube to keep it from leaking as it’s moved up and down. The gear looking things are nuts that you tighten the packing with
