Looking for the value of this pump. Fully restored both sides everything original besides the fuel hose and glass top. Hand painted decals. Thanks

Here is the question though, what did you pay for the restoration + purchase. You may be in over what you paid or hope to find a buyer who wants all.

We are definitely over what we are probably going to get for these. We had these restored along with a few other about 18 years ago and they have been sitting in a show room ever since. We paid about 8k per pump on restoration.

I guess I’ll chime in since I don’t see anyone else taking the plunge. I think you’d be doing well to get in the 3500 range for each pump. They’re relatively common clockface pumps and, although beautifully restored, are not ones collectors are going to be very interested in...particularly restored.

If you had a store front or a way to retail market them, you may be able to do better than that. My evaluation is based on a “secondary market” or private sale situation.

$3500 is more then fair. Resale of restored pumps is a horrible investment. You have to find just the right guy unless it’s very rare.

...who did the work?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
