I recently picked up this esso sign and I was wondering if anyone knew how old it is and what it might be worth. Thank for your help.

Hey Jacob...I have bought a lot of signs in equal condition. I use a product called “Zud” to clean them. To me it helps the value.
Thanks,
Steve

I'm not trying to be mean, but if you can get $200 for that sign in that condition, I would suggest to take it. My how things have changed.

My thoughts exactly, I should dig thru my scrap metal pile to retrieve all the ones I've thrown out.

You would be surprised how many guys /gals like this look for signs and buy them. And yes, the times have changed. I will admit that I have recently bought some signs that years ago I would have walked away from because of condition.

Clean your sign up as best as you can and enjoy it. You also want to try the old trick of sandwiching the sign between two sheets of plywood and gently drive your car on it to flatten it a bit more.

Have gas all the time
