Did Tokheim make a cut 62 in a short version? I have a tall and a short, and the short looks like the skins might have been cut down. (there are no vent holes circling on one end). The framework and plumbing look factory.

I have searched all my Tokheim literature and cannot find any Tokheim use of the 62. I checked every Tokheim pump I show in my Gas Pump Identification book, but again no 62. Tokheim did use the 61, 63, 63A, but no 62. Can you send me a picture of what you have and I will try and help you.

I see what the problem is now, you are asking about the tall 61 pumps made by Tokheim with the National Pump Co. name on them. Yes, they did make two tall once (79" tall), they are shown on page 279 of my Gas Pump Bible Identification book. You can also see pictures of them on this page of my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/national%2061-x.htm.

These were actually tall Tokheim 39s with a different top on then, as were the short versions.

I am sorry Jack. I am talking about a 620 visible.

My new gas pump book has over 2300 gas pump identified, and not one of the visible pumps show a short version. As you mentioned, it is probably a cut down pump.
