Hi
I am working on a old Gulf gas pump. It is a Southwest version with a heavy cast iron base. I thought I would paint the base blue and the pump orange. At least this is what I have seen in photos....

Does anyone have the correct Orange and Blue Paint codes?

Thanks in advance for your help

Mike

It's best to color match your pump decals or porcelain pump plate.

80 year old paint codes don't really translate to modern paint colors.

Later. . .

I have 2 codes for a blue and orange I used for years when I did gulf pumps, this week I tried to get colors and neither could be cross referenced. I tried several different brands and no luck. I ended up taking in a sample for them to photo and get pretty darn close.

Also being a gulf collector the amount of different shades of the orange and blue from piece to piece was numerous
