This is a very informative video featuring the Tokheim 36 and the brother and sister of the same pump. One thing I would like to clarify . The correct calculator size for the 36 pump is 10 3/4 measured face to face not 11 inches like the housing measures. Enjoy, Rob https://youtu.be/idzLIj6buCo

Thanks guys! It took some effort to move all those pumps outside the garage to line up but the overall experience was very satisfying. I hope these videos live well beyond my time here to help out others in this fun hobby.

Cool video Rob. I own a 36B and I learned a few things watching your video.

Excellent video Rob. I would like to add one more version for the viewers. A Tokheim 36BSL.
For all of those wondering, it is basically the same pump as a 36B, however it has a square hole cut in the top for a station lighter, instead of a round hole for a globe holder. You will also note that where it mounts on the top there is an additional plate, providing one more 'step' in the art deco design. My top from this actual pump is pictured in Jack's new Gas Pump Bible (pg. 343). The electrical manifold for the lights in the top (and for the mounting of the station lighter column) is also different. The pump top also has a special name badge that reads, "Stationlighter" shown in the picture of the top (below).
Here is a picture of mine for reference (note I do not have the actual stationlighter (light column and shade) on mine. It was missing. I did find an example on-line (last pic.). Hope this helps you learn a little more, in addition to all the great info in Rob's excellent, excellent video.

Thanks for adding this information Steve. And for the compliment on my video. Let me add one more thing. IMO the 36 B complete is one of the heaviest beastly pumps I have ever moved! That thing nearly broke my back trying to move it at of the garage into the lineup!

I FULLY agree! My 36B has all of its guts and that thing was a bear to move. I had help loading it, but had to unload it myself. My back was sore for a few days after that one....

Unloading a heavy pump like that alone is scary!
The part that killed my back was trying to tip it back with the dolly. I needed someone to give it a push to help me tilt it! Well my back is fine now and all those pumps are back in the garage again. Now I can just sit back relax and enjoy the video lol !

Let me add one more thing. IMO the 36 B complete is one of the heaviest beastly pumps I have ever moved! LOL. That is so true. When people look at my collection, I tell them that is one of the heaviest pumps I have ever moved. And for those who were wondering about the badge/nameplate on the top, it’s sort of hard to see. Here is a close-up...
