I may want to move this along to a new home. It is in rough condition looks like it may have been through a fire but not sure. I've had it several years now. its dated 26 or 27 on the back. What is a realistic price for this sign in this condition? If I decide to sell I will offer it up here first before anywhere else. Still undecided if I want to let it go or not yet...

Thanks everyone.

Hi, Tom. Could you give us an idea of the size of your SHELL sign? Also, does it appear that it was wood-framed at some point in time, or is it truly a "tacker". Thanks. John

without measuring its about 48x18ish. no wood frame it is porcelain with 10 mounting holes 4 on top and bottom and 1 on each side. I'll get good measurements and take a picture of the back tonight when I get home from work to show the date on the back.

Ok new pics and info. The sign is dated 23 at least I think it’s a date? Def porcelain. Looks like it was in a fire at some point. It’s is a little bigger than I remember at 54x18

IMO - foreign .. ... cool

as much rust on back of sign appears that the S - 7 - 23 was stenciled on after all the rust developed..

Thanks guys. I believe the sign is from the UK based on the little info I can find.
I'm not sure if the work on the back is orig or not but it does appear on a different sign I was able to find a back picture of so it could be original to the sign?
