I found this sign in an operating Shell station in the early 70's in Ferndale Ca.It was mounted on 3 pieces of redwood,i asked the owner if it was for sale and we struck a deal.I unscrewed it from the wood got it in the car
(73 Catalina) and hauled it home.Overall length measured 10' long.Oh hindsight! Later sold it to a collector that wanted it worse than I did.The only one I have ever seen with the white pecten.I do not recall the pecten size
but thinking at least 18" across or more.Not a good picture as I found a photo and took a picture of it to post.

The white is cool looking. I saw this one in a collection up north, I wonder if it is the one you used to own.

Hi Matt,mine went to Chicago when I sold it,hard to say if it moved on.
