Hi all. I'm trying to learn more about this oil storage and pumping station. Collectability, vintage, any info about it. Of all the old gas station bulk oil dispensers I find on the internet, none look like this one. Any info will be appreciated. The label is hard to read but I think it says, The Hoyer Padford (or Radford) & Gordon Tank & Pump Co, Dayton, Ohio. No. 473 (I think). It's been on family property in California since at least the 1940s. Thanks!

Interesting that is your impression. When I searched the internet I found a 19th century kerosene pumping station and that made me wonder because when you look at the pumping component's design, they look very early 1900s to me. Given that I cannot find any bulk motor oil pumping stations that look like this I'm think you are right about it being for kerosene.

Yes, it is in good working condition. Paint's gone but the inside would clean up nicely.
