I’ve been working off and on again on this pump for a while now and recently finished it. The pump was originally a North Star Electro and I have restored it as such. This is a Canadian pump that shares similarities with the G&B T176 but lacks rods around the cylinder and no lower ribs on the skins. It also oddly lacks a easy to access door to manipulate the to car/to storage lever. There is a access but it is opened by removing 4 1/4” bolts. The jar lid is also attached by a single nut on the centre pipe that the electrical runs through. I found this pump shares many similarities with SSE Clear Vision pumps. It’s a odd ball but a cool pump none the less.

Rob, What a great restoration. Very cool you found an original pump of the brand you like..... and you did it proud. Nice restoration, looks great.

As always a fine job Rob. I am a fan of leaving the screen off unless your displaying outside.
It certainly is a looker. North Star has a great look to their pumps.
