Edited to rotate pictures, in next post

Howdy yall,

Picked up this pump yesterday with the plan of putting some skins on it and letting it sit in the garden for a while. Cannot seem to identify it. Measurements are off for just about everything but it is close to both a bennet 810 and a BD 83

Measurements are
Top skin diameter 10”
Bottom skin diameter 18”
Skin height 61”
Glass would be about 12” by just over 26”
there will be a notch in the top of the door skin where the nozzle attachment is cast.
It has three supports as opposed to 4
Notch for conduit is in funny place near nozzle exit

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

The gallon markers look like Boyle Dayton (see the late Dick Bennett’s comment on #20 in the attached thread).

However, the bottom jar lid in your pic doesn’t have the same rounded contour/lip as most Boyle Dayton’s.

#20 in this thread.....

So I don’t think it’s a BD, but those gallon markers look like they’re possibly from one.

I’m sure someone else will be able to help as well.

Here’s a pic of what I’m talking about (from that same thread).......

Thanks speedracer, yes that is what led me to think Boyle Dayton myself but it just doesn’t match with any known sizes. The lower jar lid is only ten inch so the pump has quite a bit of taper, like a bennet, but it is too short for a bennet.

Hoping someone recognizes the drop in the casting for the nozzle

Yeah I noticed the taper as well.

Found a guy on Ebay with the same pump for sale. He says it’s a Gilbert and Barker, which is where I was leaning but it is far too short in the base. I sent him an inquiry as to how he came to the decision that is what it is.

If in fact it is a G&B does anybody know of a more scarce model? Best I can tell it is a full 7” shorter than a 176. It has not been cut.

Guy on Ebay was guessing it is a G&B. But it is the same upper and lower jar housing. His is 66 1/2” skins so possibly mine has been modified, but it has not been cut and the angles of the supports seem in line.

I am going to fabricate my own skins as I have a sheet metal shop and I can use all G&B cylinder and hardware, it is just kinda driving me nuts that it is not a known example. I have probably done 8 hrs research.
