Hi All,
I came across this item located near me: https://ebay.us/eovDi9
Considering I've seen MINT restorations under 3k, the price seems high.
What concerns me from the photos is the Model/Serial plaque looks like a sticker, and there's no pics of the insides (I asked but didn't hear back).

Are there any other red flags I should worry about? what would be a fair price to offer?

Thanks!

Yeah. The repop ID tag isn't even for the right model.
The only real thing going for it is its local vs my guess of 300-600 to ship one from elsewhere.

Price is way too high for my liking. Paint is scratched too. Paint always looks good in pics. Always looks different in person.

Base isn’t painted, which leads me to believe the frame isn’t finished. It should be for $3k

Bezels, outlets and trim aren’t polished or painted (might be the look he was going for) but just pointing it out for you.

Missing on/off switch. Not a huge deal. Some guys who restore these don’t re-install them. Just an FYI.

Clump of wire on the side may be just attached to old wiring. That is something you may want to ask... if it was completely re-wired or not.

Pump plate is repop.

Thanks, all. I really appreciate the veteran insights.
The seller never responded to my messages, and it appears they sold it outside of ebay.

Although I won't be buying it, I'm still curious what folks think something like this is worth (just for my own knowledge).
