Hello OldGassers... I created a new Facebook group dedicated to single oil can auctions. These auctions are similar to a typical silent auction in that you place a comment as a bid on the can and the auction ends when the high bid becomes 24-hours old. All posts will be made by myself and no other content is allowed in the group. It should be clean and simple to navigate and see what is selling at the moment. Auctions will begin starting this week. I never have used FACEBOOK and Never in my Life have a need for it

I understand Facebook is not for everyone, and that's ok too. But for those that do have Facebook accounts, I hope you will join in on the Oil Can Auctions! There's much more coming.

I know Facebook is not for everyone… but unfortunately they make it way to easy to post and sell. There are groups for just certain things… cans, globes, pump and signs and everything. Oldgas is for sure the original social media outlet for collectors!!!
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Oil Can Auctions are still going weekly!... about 15-20 cans per week are auctioned at no reserve. All desirable cans... average value among all listings is $300-500.
