Here's my 1/25 scale 1953 Buick dealer showroom, service and used cars. I've had a few of the parts and an idea in my head for over a decade. The showroom/parts building was a hardware store display I found in an antique shop. It was the correct scale, so I ripped out the guts and replaced them with showroom and parts counter photos and built the billboards from scratch. The service building is hashed together from various G-scale model train building components. The roof is actual corrugated metal. The lighting is all LED powered by AA batteries. Took quite a bit of looking to find what I wanted for the used car lot lights. An air meter and a mechanic with his arms up for posing under the lift rack are my next project. And the wife says it needs some landscaping of some kind.

Just to give you an idea of size, the whole thing is about 36" long.

The model railroader inside me appreciates the amount of time it takes to put something like this together. Nice looking diorama!

Fantastic! Very well done. What great detail. You do great work Jim.

One very small observation. The air hose the mechanic is using looks a little out of scale. It must be difficult to find the right stuff to use and then get it to scale. Keep up the great work. It is a joy to see.

I added an air meter and Shell globe, both made from scratch. Built a new mechanic from a kit that allowed me to position his arms up, so he looks at home on the rack.

Good job, I like the look on them both. That's the thing about modeling a scene, the more you look at it the more you think of additional details to add! Thanks for sharing.
