I found 3 Erie Clockface double sided heads in Western NY last week. Here are my track through the snow toward the round metal building. The heads came off the bus station in front of this property back in the 30's. I'll listen to offers.

You are correct, except I was told the there would be more info coming to see if they were from 50 or 53. I just inquired like everyone else. They could be the ones I was looking for the either of those pumps. If I had not been told that I would no gripe.

To be quite honest, Looking on here for anything big dollar and expecting it to not be behind the scenes is just a dream anymore. Too be more honest I really do not care because it has gotten so and I do not even like to use any words to describe the lack of respect for rules that are suppose to be used. Seems people just either make them up or come up with an excuse as to why things are done. I AM NO WAY PUTTING THIS ON THIS AD OR MEMBER, JUST A SIMMERING THING YEAR AFTER YEAR.

In all fairness it is listed in the offers, bids and trade section. It's not a straight up for sale section. "IN FAIRNESS" is why commented. It is hard to know what is fair if it isn't posted out here on the board. Not sure it matters in what topic it is posted. Again, all done behind the scenes. Not sure why all the secrecy is necessary. But, like Craig said, your rules and just a continuing practice on this forum. It's just disappointing to not learn of selling costs and technical info. even if I don't have a horse in this race. Sorry, just ventng.

Thanks for the input Randy, like you I don't have a horse in this race. Personally, generally speaking I think we need fewer rules not more.
If I see something listed in this section here's what I know ... there's emails and pm's going back and forth trying to put a deal together....and i think that's a great place on the site to do that. Not really sure why anyone thinks the seller owes them an explanation of who they sold it to and why.
If it's in the general for sale section then a agree wholeheatedly, there should be protocol.

Not saying anyone needs to know why or whom things are sold to. Just when comments are made about things being sent and then follow up OR SAY BEFORE THAT COMMENT IS MADE that another deal in the works. Everyone here is entitled to do what they want.
