My class of high school students just finished this Gilbarco 96. It was a real basket case when we started, but they worked on it for over a year and got it in very nice condition. They learned the basics of straightening metal, using body filler, priming, wet sanding, and painting. I think they did an amazing job for some 17 and 18 year olds. Pictured are two of the students that worked on it.

Thanks for the great comments. This pump is now housed at the Frontier Auto Museum in Gillette, Wyoming. If you haven't been there or heard of them, you are really missing out. It is an unbelievable museum that is definitely worth checking out if you like gas / oil / old cars. Check out their website at www.frontierautomuseum.com
