I met a guy that has one of those little gas boy pumps for sale but I cant find info on it in Jacks book. What are they worth in good unrestored condition? Sorry don't have a photo but it's the 42" one. Sort of like the AO Smith but the face is different and the chrome or stainless trim around is has the words "Gas Boy" on it. Who made it?

Gasboy pumps were made by William M. Wilson's Sons.

When it comes to finding a great group to ask about your gas problems you guys are "da bomb". Appreciate the help and info. Looks like I may have to pass on this gas buy (or haggle a bit more).
After looking some more at Jacks book and with the help of the group I found the pump. It's a Wilson 390.

Of the Wilson pumps I think that it's one of the better looking ones.

ABOUT FIVE YEARS AGO I PURCHASED A GASBOY MODEL #52 ALONG WITH A M&S 80 MISSING BOTH DOORS. SINCE IT WAS A PACKAGE DEAL, I CAN SAY I PAID $100 FOR THIS 1981 PUMP THAT I DID UP WITH PHILLIPS 66 ON ONE SIDE AND GULF ON THE OTHER! THIS MODEL IS WIDER THAN SOME THIN ONE'S I'VE SEEN:

I'D SAY $200 TOPS IN WORKING CONDITION/USED IS GOOD. YOUR ONLY EXCUSE FOR PAYING HALF THAT IS THAT YOU ARE USING IT AS A DECORATION - NOT A FUNCTIONAL GAS PUMP!

GOOD LUCK!

Doc,
The pump I looked at looks like yours except the hose mounts in the back. The guy wants 300 bucks which includes some common quart cans (tooooo much). I wanted to make a fountain out of it and have the nozzle spray into some kind of container like a five gallon or 30 gallon can. Based on the sage advice of the gas gurus I will look for a better deal.
Thanks again guys!

Poor Man, I have two like this but more skinny?, hose hangs on the back, AND they both have a small bank key system in the door (for tracking fuel use per man/truck), which are kinda cool. Email me if you are interested in a pics and/or a better deal.
