I am very new to this "field", and I am in need of any information on the ways that a Texaco station was in the 1950's/1960's

-Architecture
-Colors
-Types of gas pumps used
-Type of Equipment used in the service department (any special cabinets etc.)
-Anything

And especially if there are any types of books out there that will help me out too.

Thank you for the help

Here are links to 3 Texaco collector and marketing history books. Your questions will be answered in the information and many photos in these books.

* Texaco Collectibles : With Price Guide by Robert W.D. Ball
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D0887406564/primarilypetroli
* Texaco Collector's Guide by Scott Benjamin, Wayne Henderson
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D076030291X/primarilypetroli
* A Tour With Texaco by Rick Pease
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D0764303600/primarilypetroli

This Web site receives a small commission from the sales of books from links we provide to Amazon.com. You get the same great price and service as if you came in Amazon.com's front door.

Thanks, Jim
