Which pumps are the most desirable among Gilbarco, Bennet, Bowser and Neptune? Some are very plain but which has the most bling? Thanks

Impossible question to answer. All of those manufacturers have models that are rare, highly collectible, and very valuable. And the amount of “bling” is completely subjective.

Much like with women, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. For example, I really like Wayne 70s, many people find them too boxy and plain. I really like Tokheim Interceptors, most feel that this pump is outside the "classic" era for petroleum collectables. To each their own.

If you ask a dealer, he will probably tell you the models he has for sale. If you ask a person who came of age in the 1920's, they will probably cite the old gravity feeds. If you ask a person who came of age in the 1960's, they will probably cite early computer models. I restored a Bowser 585 because that is what I saw when I was a child. Desirability in the minds of a collector is often driven by nostalgia.
