Thank you for having a forum with so much information, I am happy to be here. So….I needed a fuel tank and found one nearby, $350 dollars with pump. When I got there I found a “very old” Gasboy series 15 pump on a tank mounted on a ( looks like home made, but made well) 3 wheel cart. The only place I found any mention of this series was this forum, from I believe “ Viking” that he had one. Anything anyone call tell me about this? While removing the dispensing hose I found out this had been used for hydraulic fluid. I want to use it for diesel. I will still clean it up and repaint. The seller says it had a globe on top when he got it, but it was no longer there ( it still had a globe base). Thoughts? Parts? It needs new glass and clock face and hands…..and “ yet to be determined “.

Thank you Ron, I appreciate the help. I’m just getting started. The glass is an old piece of plexiglass sort of broken to shape and stuffed in the holders. Can’t tell from the outside though. The face is readable but pretty faded. No hands at all on the face. Everything else seems to be there, and the motor works. The pump turns over by hand. I removed the motor before trying to start it as it needs a new cord anyhow.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Wanna hear a funny story? Let me start by saying I took the number tally thingy (technical term) apart to clean it…….guess what…..it’s really, really hard to get back together. I sat on a stool at the bench for so long my legs fell asleep…….guess they’ll be up all night…🤨
