Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have been fixing up a Bowser 1510 pump noted on the manufacturing plate. It has a VeederRoot computer display. I need some advice on its operation. I took the turbine off and used a drill motor to turn the gallons at 0 cents setting and it turned freely and I was 'happy'. I then followed the directions to try to change the price to 30.9 and now the drill motor won't turn the meter readings, I'm sad! Something is apparently jammed. It was hard to change the settings from 0.0 to 30.9 following the directions on the instrument cover. I tried clearing the display with the lever and it won't clear either. What wisdom and knowledge might the forum share with me? Thank you very much I live in the Los Angeles area.

I have a Bowser 1510 pump with a Veeder Root computer meter display. I disconnected the turbine meter and connected a variable speed drill to spin the meter and it worked very well but it was at $0.00 per gallon. I then tried to reset to 30.9. Following the directions on the casing I could only change the cents figures by jiggleling the levers to the numeric slots and the point 9 lever did not clearly set in place well. I then used my drill to spin the meter and the meter was stuck both clockwise and counterclockwise. It is evidently jammed up somewhere. When I reset the price they did not 'seat well in their positions'. Also the clearance lever on the side of the pump doesn't clear the meter reading. What advice might someone have for a rookie to this hobby to fix this problem? I live in the Los Angeles area. Thank you very much.
