Invited the family over, wife made a big pot of soup and munchies and we went to working hanging stuff up. Some of the stuff was packed away for about a year and I forgot I had some of it. It filled up the walls real quick. I want to put up a couple shelfs and bring some globes, cans and small stuff over yet.

The wifes pot of soup

Nice collection, Wes. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you REALLY like Sinclair! LOL Seeing as how I'm a carpenter/contractor , I noticed the ceiling isn't finished yet. What are you planning on putting up there?

I plan on putting up some type of roofing and floor covering, not sure what yet. I would have liked to have had done before hanging up everything, now I run the risk of Jarvising something when I do put up the roofing. Some of my stuff was in storage for a couple years so I wanted to get it put up as soon as possible.

The Air Force sign is double sided, on the back it says U.S.ARMY and has a different sysmbol. I think they were at one time hung out in front of post offices. I do not have a date for it but it is porcelain, not painted metal. I saw a couple like it in better condition since I bought mine. I had to add it to my collection, 26.5 years invested with Uncle SAM, I needed a sign.

Hanging up a shelf to display globes, cans and smalls today, more pictures to follow.

I put up a couple shelfs and a door today, plus a few beer tin tackers also. The door is an old one that came from the church I went to before I joined the AF. It leads to a small storage room, may make it into more display room one day. I moved the Pennzoil sign, it was plugged into an outlet that was hot all the time, now it will be on a switched outlet.
