I am wondering if any of you might know the value of a G&B 67 10-gallon visible pump. And is it a rare pump? I have not seen very many in the petroleum collectibles magazines. I have looked at some auction sites, and I have never seen that pump. Jack Simms books had G&B 67's in them, 5 and 10 gallon, but Jack noted that he wasn't sure if outside gallon markers were authentic. That makes me wonder if that is a rare pump. (This one does have original outside gallon markers). Hoping that someone may have some info. Thanks.

Hey Old Dog....I am not an expert. Like you, being in Montana, I have not seen many G&B 67 10 Gallons....but, several years ago I ran into one south of Bozeman, and I had made arrangements to buy it and got there the next day, and the guy sold it the night before. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper.... but I do remember that it had what looked to be original gallon markers on the outside. I did get to see the pump; it was in an old shed and had a couple of inches of dust. He said it came off that farm and had been in the garage for 50 some years. Anyway, that doesn't prove anything, but thought I would pass it along. Still ticks me off he went back on his word. LOL

Thanks Alex... Since you saw one with outside markers, I'm guessing that they originally had outside markers. I was just wondering, because when Jack Simms was not "totally sure", I didn't know. And I hear you about being told you can purchase a pump and then sold before you get there... It P;s you off. Take care.
