At last the front entrance to our home is done. My wife's idea to do two Bennett pumps in horse theme instead of the usual rock or brick type pillars we see all over. Ted & Pam
The first is the approach

Next a close up of the two pumps.

The departure

Ted & Pam,
That entrance deserves a ribbon cutting ceramony. I see you even snuck an ad glass in there with your dogs name (Ethyl)on it.

It's really cool that your wife is so supportive of your hobby. To top that off your son is a collector. Its great to see family participation in the same hobby!!!

Wow, Ted! That is outstanding. I wouldn't mind being stuck in Lodi at your place.

While I'm here, I'd like to thank Ted for all his effort in posting so many great images on the oil can monthly showcase. Great job!

Ted, I just showed the pictures to my wife. Her reaction was "WOW thats a cool gate, do you think we could do that".
Another one of the many reasons I married her.

Great entrance! Now you need a little shelter for the attendant to stand in, in 50's garb, waiting to open and close the gate for you! Let's see, someone has the costume.....

* BTW, just showed my wife and she said, Hmm, I like it, but our driveway is not wide enough...wow look at that tree, I really like that...

Thanks for all the kind words and yes a lot of hard work has gone into this project and house. Dick, we did think about the Beebee guns and such that is why the common pumps and less expensive globe lenses. It's cheaper than lanterns on a pillar!!!. Gas bash here maybe someday??? Thanks Ted & Pam
