Hi,
First off I am thankful I found this board!
I'm a retired pipefitter, who likes old cars, boats, old houses, old women, and now I got a gas pump(Tokheim 300)that my wifes brother gave us.we got it in west Texas and i never saw one like it.It's a green pump with white doors(globe broke off)and the sign on it sticker on the doors reads "shramrock".
Can anyone help send me to where I can get a new set of stickers and a globe for this one.
Thanks for the help, and I'm gad to come on board
Russ

www.gaspumpheaven.com or vicsplace.com are a couple of the bigger, complete line parts houses.

48ford:

Shamrock is one of the few companies that used an oval globe. As far as I know these have not been rebop'ed. Original globes sell for around $450.00 & no one has decals for them either.

As most of us will tell you - restore it to any brand you want. If you want to leave it green-n-white, do it as a 'Sinclair' or 'Cities Service/Koolmotor' pump. Both featured the green and white paint scheme.

But there are over 100 different globes available to put on your pump. With decals to match most of them. Have fun and let the family decide what 'brand' it will be once it's completed.

If you decide to keep it 'Shamrock' I can create custom decals for you. Drop me an e-mail and we can discuss costs.

Later . . .

Jim

Russ,
You should be able to pick up a nice oval Shamrock globe for $250-300. Those globes used to fetch $400+ but alot of them have come to market in the past 2 1/2 years and the price dropped alot. Shamrock also use a 13 1/2" capco globe. These turn up for sale occaisionally, but they are very plain.

Kewl! I did not know those were available. Are they new reproductions - or have I just missed seeing them before?

This is something that I've reproduced in the last few months, licensed by Shamrock, and ready to rock. Did a Bennett 766 in Shamrock like the ones in Scott B's resto book, WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!! Very cool.

P.S. for 48 ford....I've got a Shamrock oval original globe that I'd let loose of for $300 + freight.
